as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.

As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act -1956 and the Dentists Act-1948

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2019.
NEET (UG) - 2019, will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
for admission to MBBS/BDS Coursesin 2019 2020 academic year,
in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament ie. AIIMS - JIPMER.

The NEET (UG) - 2019 will be conducted on Sunday, 5th May, 2019. The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and for providing an “All India Rank merit list” to the Directorate General Health Service, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to States/other Counselling Authorities.

NEET MDS 2018 IMPORTANT DATES:-

  6. The selection and admission to    Postgraduate seats in any dental institutions recognized for running MDS courses as per Dentists Act, 1948 is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, medical fitness and such criteria as may be    prescribed by the respective universities, medical institutions, Dental Council of India, State/Central Government. Candidates may note that NBE has no role regarding counseling    and allotment of MDS seats.   7. Online Submission of application form begins on 16th October 2018 from 07:00 PM onwards.

NEET MDS 2019 Dental PG ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEET- MDS 2019;-

(A)  The eligibility criteria for Admission to MDS courses as per MDS Course Regulations 2017 notified by Dental Council of India with prior approval of MoHFW is as follows:-
A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute    in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/ recognised dental college.
A candidate who after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the     foreign dental degree recognized by GOI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2019 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless    he/she has completed the compulsory rotatory internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st    March 2019 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by    31st March 2019.

NEET MDS 2019 Dental PG ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ALL INDIA 50% QUOTA SEATS
The eligibility criteria for All India 50% quota seats is as per para 4.1 & 4.2 (vide supra).    Candidates who have studied/passed BDS from the    state of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for 50% All India Quota seats.   
However,    the candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do BDS from Dental Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible to apply for admission. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that he/she was nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do BDS from Dental Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir to the following address along with the print out of the acknowledgement of submission of online application for NEET-MDS 2019 latest by30th November 2018.

Note: Possession/Use of Mobile Phones/Electronic Devices is strictly prohibited in the premises of NBE Examination Centre. Candidates shall be liable for penal action for Possession/Use of Mobile Phone/Electronic Devices

 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS IN NEET-MDS 2019.
 As per MDS course Regulations 2017:-
It is not mandatory for foreign nationals to have temporary registration with DCI at the time of writing NEET-MDS.
Foreign Nationals can write NEET-MDS without DCI registration.
Provided that in the case of a foreign national, the following procedure shall be followed:
The Council may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant    temporary    registration for the duration of the post-graduate training restricted to the dental    college/institution to which he or she is admitted for the time being exclusively for post-graduate studies:-
Provided further that    temporary    registrationto such foreign national shall be subject to the condition that such person    is duly registered as    medical practitionerin    his/her own country from which he/she has obtained    his/her basics dental qualification and that    his/her degree is recognized by the corresponding state dental council or concerned authority.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NRI IN NEET-MDS 2019.
The definitions of NRIs, OCI and PIOs shall be in accordance with order of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 22/08/2017    in WP No.    689/2017.        Copy of Order is at Annexure    III.
The dates indicated by candidates with regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship
i.e. starting date, completion date, shall be treated as final and candidates    will be required tosubmit the original Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship completion certificate at the time of counseling. No condonation of internship of 12 months period shall be accepted except
(i) the students of the batch admitted during academic session    2007-08 and have completed 4 ½ year BDS course    alongwith    06 months compulsory rotating    internship and
(ii) the students admitted during    the academic session 2006-07 at Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University those have completed 05 years BDS course without internship.
Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of NEET-MDS 2019 will not be permitted to appear in the examination and/or counseling.In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or being successful in the NEET-MDS 2019, the results/ candidature of such candidate shall be    cancelled    and/or    are deemed to be cancelled.

EXAMINATION FEE:-
  • Amount NEET- MDS Exam fee Rs. 2750/- (For SC/ST/PWD (PH) candidates) RRs. 3750/-  (For General/OBC candidates)
NEET MDS 2019 Exam Pattern;- shall be held on a single day & single session only.
Allocation    of time for the NEET- MDS shall be as follows:-
  • Activities Session (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
  • Allow Candidates to enter the examination centre and commence Biometric Registration 12:00    PM
  • Entry closes at Examination Centre 01:30 pm   
  • Grant access for Candidate Login 01:45 pm
  • Candidates log in to read instructions 01:50  pm
  • Exam StartTime 02:00 PM 
  • Exam End Time 05:00 PM

NEET MDS 2019 Dental PG Syllabus:-

  • The syllabus for the exam shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all    the subjects/syllabus    taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time
  • The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using    computers network(CBT) as per scheme prescribed.
  • The exam    comprises of 240 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in    English language only.
  • Time allotted 3 hrs.

Negative Marking:-
There shall be 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No    marks will be deducted for unattempted questions Allocation of Marks for each MCQ: S.No. Response Marks
1. Correct Response 4 marks
2. Incorrect Response 1 mark shall be deducted
3. Unattempted Question Zero

During the examination candidates are given an option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for review which means that candidate has been given an option to go through these questions again before the examination time ends.
Candidates may note that such questions which are marked for review shall be evaluated as per the marking scheme indicated above.


NEET MDS 2019 Dental PG ADMIT CARD & TEST;-
  • The examination shall be conducted on 14th December 2018.
  • It will be a single day exam conducted in a single session
  • At the time of online submission of application form, candidate will be required to choose the city in which    he/she wants to take    the test.
  • The choice of city will depend on availability of the test centres in a particular city and the allotment shall be done on first come first serve basis.
  • During the    submission of online    application form, candidate will be able to see only those cities where testing seats are available.
  • While the city will be chosen by the candidate himself/herself at the time of online submission of application form, allotment of test centre/venue in he    chosen city shall be done by NBE.

In case testing seat is not available in the State in which you prefer to appear in NEET-MDS 2019,
you can choose the option OTHERS from    the list of States at the time of selection of the State during online submission of application form.
NBE will make all efforts to ensure that the candidate is allotted a testing centre in the State of correspondence address of the candidate.
In case testing seat is not available in the concerned State due to logistic, administrative and other reasons, testing centre in a nearby State shall be allocated. Such candidates shall be informed about their testing city by 21st November 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to MDS course:-

VALIDITY OF NEET-MDS 2019 RESULT    The validity of the result of NEET-MDS 2019 shall be only for the current admission session ie.2019
admission session for MDS courses and cannot be carried forward for the next session of admissions for MDS courses.

  • Credit Card (Visa / Master Card) / NET banking option to pay the fees and follow the online instructions to complete the payment.
  • After successful submission of application and payment of fee, a PDF application will be generated with the particulars and attachments furnished by the applicant. 
  • Only ONLINE application will be accepted
  • The applicant has to visit the website:www.pjtsau.ac.in and fill the OTR (onetime registration) application with his/her or parents mobile number and avoid the  mobile number of others.
The same should be downloaded, printed and brought on the counseling day.

The applicant is informed that mere submission of an online application does not guarantee allotment of seat.

The particulars furnished by the applicant in the application form is final and the applicants should therefore be very careful in uploading / submitting the application form online.

The applicant should produce the originals of all the uploaded certificates for verification of the same on the counselling day.

The applicants are informed not to send the downloaded application to the University by Post, by Courier or in Person as such applications will not be accepted.

LAST OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLETE DEFICIENCIES IN APPLICATION FORM FOR  AIIMS MBBS-2018

It has been observed that despite providing around 6 opportunities from date of Registration ie. 05.02.2018 to 05.03.2018; 8-12 March 2018 & 20-28 March  2018 many applicants who have applied for AIIMS, MBBS-2018 and have submitted the fee and opted the city of examination have not completed their forms or addressed deficiencies.

The competent authority has decided to give such applicants last chance to complete their Application Form as per AIIMS requirement described in the Prospectus between 16.04.2018 to 18.04.2018 (5.00 PM).

It may be noted that in most instances the deficiencies are because applicants have not bothered to check the status of their application forms as and when required or cared to  follow  the requirements as mentioned in the Prospectus. Therefore, applicants are advised to go through the Prospectus, familiarize with the requirements and prepare accordingly before addressing deficiencies such as uploading correct images.

It may be noted that this will be the final chance and various pre-examination processes need to be completed without any further delay. The Admit Cards will be issued only to applicants whose Application Form & images will be found to be in order in all respects.

It may also be noted that further correspondence will not be entertained in this regard in future and it is regretted that no further chances will be provided to  correct deficiencies in the applicant form. Therefore in their best interests applicants are required to utilize this opportunity to correct deficiencies in their application form.

The final Status of the application will be uploaded in the website www.aiimsexams.org on 20.04.2018.

AIIMS 2018 Examination Centers Cities


As per the initiative taken by Director, AIIMS, New Delhi, the competitive Entrance Examination of MBBS-2018 is being conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) [Online]  for AIMS New Delhi and other Eight AIIMS.

The examination shall be held on Saturday 26th May, 2018 &  Sunday, 27th  May, 2018.
The duration of the examination shall be 3½ hours (three hours and thirty minutes).
The Online (CBT) Entrance Examination will be conducted in two days (26th May, 2018 & 27th May, 2018) in two shift per day:
  • Morning Shift / First shift :           09:00 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Afternoon Shift / Second shift :   03:00 PM to 06:30 PM
  • the examinationcentres are tentatively proposed in 155 cities all over India.

Therefore all candidates will be required to appear at CBT Online Entrance Examination, which will be conducted by the AIIMS, New Delhi on Saturday the 26th May, 2018 & Sunday, the 27th May, 2018 in either of any shift on one  day(9:00 AM to 12:30 PM & 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM) as allotted. The venue, time and shift of the examination will be communicated to the candidates in the Admit Card.  No candidate will be permitted to change the day /shift other then allotted to him /her.

No candidate will be permitted to appear in the examination unless he/she holds a valid "Admit Card" issued by the Institute and a proof of their identification.

Applicants should indicate his/her choice of city of Examination at the time filling the application form.  The city chosen is subject  to confirmation of payment of the examination fee.

The city of examination shall be allotted on count down basis subject to availability of nodes in respective city. The city of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained.  Applicants should therefore select the choice of city with utmost care.

Applicants are advised to register themselves, make payment submit other information and submit their application format at the earliest without waiting for the last date, to avoid not getting the choice of city.

It may be noted that although AIIMS will make all efforts to ensure that the candidate is allotted a centre in the cities chosen by the applicant, due to circumstances such as lack of sufficient number of candidates, logistic, administrative and other reasons, an Examination Centre in another city may be allotted finally. Applicants are therefore required to be prepared to appear for the examination in the Examination Centre allotted to them.

The decision of AIIMS regarding allotment of centres, day & shift shall be final. No further correspondence or request shall be entertained in such cases. A tentative list of cities where the Examination Centres are located are provided in the accompanying table. In addition, candidates are not permitted to change the Centre/day /shift allotted to them.

Telangana State gets 150 more MBBS seats from 2018-19 by Medical Council of India:-
Siddipet: The MBBS intake in Telangana will increase by 150 for academic year 2018-19 as the Medical Council of India issued permission for establishment of Siddipet Medical College.the Telangana health, medical and family welfare department, after the inspections, the MCI gave nod to Siddipet Medical College, which has been vying for the council's permission since 2016. With the establishment of new medical college in Siddipet, the number of MBBS seats will increase from 3,300 to 3,450. Spread over a massive 50 acres, the Telangana government has, will be investing an estimated Rs 700 crore on this institution. During MCI's last assessment, , the executive committee of the council noted that the institute had a faculty deficiency of 13.84 per, while its departments of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, demonstration rooms and pantry were not furnished. Further, the college's lecture theatres, central library, student hostels, residential quarters, dean's office, common rooms for boys and girls were still under construction, among other shortcomings. The Medical Council of India (MCI) has given permission for Siddipet Medical College with 150 seats from academic year 2018-19 while it renewed permission for Mahabubnagar Medical College 3rd batch with 150 seats while restoring 100 seats to the Nizamabad Medical College

About the VRK Medical College:-
     This exclusive Women’s Medical College is established in the year 2010-11 with an annual intake of 100 students for MBBS Degree Course.  The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the Essentiality Certificate and the Dr N T R University of Health Sciences has given the consent of Affiliation for the starting of this Medical College to Dr V R K Education Society.

     With Essentiality Certificate and the Consent of Affiliation, the Society has applied to the Board of Governors in Super-session of “MCI - Medical Council of India”   with the detailed Project Report. The MCI after conducting few inspections and satisfying itself with availability of Staff, Equipment and Infrastructure,  have recommended to the Ministry Of Health and Family Welfare (MH & FW), Government of India, New Delhi, for the issuance of Letter of Permission (LOP). The MH&FW has granted the permission vide letter no: MCI-34(41)/2012-MED/113540 dated  23/05/2012  with an annual intake of 100 Girls Students for MBBS Course.

     VRK's,The Society has approached the State Government and the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI), Government of India for the Minority Status Certificate. The NCMEI has given the Minority Status Certificate vided no: 1238/2010 dated 5/10/2010 and hence this Institution is declared as Minority Institution since inception.

    VRK Women’s Medical College is exclusively for Women Students only, whereas the Staff and Patients are both men and women. By virtue of a Minority Institution, the rules applicable to it are followed with respect to the admission of students as governed by the A.P. State Government from time to time.
   
VRK Medical College is attached to a 500 Bed Teaching Hospital with all the necessary equipment and infrastructure as prescribed by the MCI. In addition to this, there is a separate Casualty  ward of 20 Beds and other Specialized Wards  with 5 Beds each namely; ICU, ICCU, RICU, PICU/NICU and Burns Ward. An Urban Health Centre is located at Langar House and a Rural Health Centre is located at Chilkur Village, Moinabad Mandal.

Medical College's Buildings, Teaching Hospital, Students Hostels, Staff Quarters & other appurtenant Buildings are housed in a Unitary Campus of 26 Acres. The major land marks near the Medical College are A.P. Police Academy (APPA) and National Deer Park. The Medical College is located right opposite to the Mruguvani National Deer Park.  The College is 16 Kms from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport  and 22 Kms from the Hyderabd Railway Station. It is well connected to the Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the Road connecting to Moinabad-Chevella-Vikarabad from Mehdipatnam.

 The Dr VRK Women’s Medical College is named after its Founder and Chief Promoter Dr  Vizarath Rasool Khan who is an eminent Educationist and a reformist whose aim is to  popularize education among the minorities and merge them in the national main stream.

MBBS in KMC Manipal Medical College::

The MBBS course is being offered in KMC Manipal and KMC Mangalore. Its duration is four and a half years plus 1 year compulsory rotating internship course.
This course is recognised by the General Medical Council of Great Britain and the Malaysian Medical Council.
